Logitech G940

The Logitech G940 is a full featured joystick that gives maximum support for the ForceFly. The force feedback in this joystick is second to none. Given the quality of this joystick it is definitely worth the cost.

Below is picture labeling defined control inputs of the joystick.

  1. Control stick for aileron and elevator input
  2. Lightly squeeze trigger for push-button 1 (pb1), pull all the way for push-button 8 (pb8)
  3. Thumb button (S4) is push-button 2 (pb2)
  4. Pinky button (S5) is push-button 7 (pb7)
  5. Switch 1 and push-button 5(S1) and 3(FIRE), (sw1, pb5, pb3)
  6. Analog hat switch side-to-side is axis channel 5, up and down is axis channel 6
  7. Hat switch with same functionality as both hat switches on the throttle
  8. Switch 2 and push-button 6(S2) and 4(S3), (sw2, pb6, pb4)
  9. Analog trim wheel for elevator axis
  10. Analog trim wheel for aileron axis
  11. Analog trim wheel for rudder axis

  1. Press and hold both buttons (P3 and P4) to navigate the menu
  2. Throttle axis input
  3. Channel 7 axis input
  4. Switch 4 and push-button 11(T3) and 12(T4), (sw4, pb11, pb12)
  5. Analog trim wheel for channel 7 axis
  6. Hat switch with same functionality as hat switch on the joystick
  7. Hat switch with same functionality as hat switch on the joystick
  8. Analog trim wheel for throttle axis
  9. Trim mode switch: position 1 sets analog trim ranges to +/-9%, position 2 sets analog trim ranges to +/-18%, position 3 locks current trim values
  10. Switch 3 and push-button 9(T1) and 10(T2), (sw3, pb9, pb10)
